Elektrocarbon offers commutators pressed with thermosetting resin. Commutators designed for higher rotation speeds are strengthened with steel rings and/or steel sleeves.

Slip ring heads are three-ring constructions pressed with thermosetting resin, with a steel sleeve in case of bigger diameters.

The design, production and sale of slip ring heads and commutators comply with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standards besides our internal quality standards. The quality of all components is monitored during the production process. Each slip ring head and commutator is subject to voltage control and a dimensions check.
