Wheel flange lubrication system
The rolling stock wheel flange lubrication system consisting of a graphite stick and a constant pressure applicator is an effective alternative to liquid lubricants. The lubricating material is applied precisely only at the point of contact between the wheel flange and the rail head inner surface, without reducing the adhesion coefficient of the rail running surface
