Elektrocarbon offers pantograph contact strips of efficient coppergraphite materials officially approved by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe. Coppergraphites developed at  Mersen laboratories were engineered to receive a current of at least 1000A per strip at speeds over 350 km/h; and 150A at standstill, while maintaining a low operating temperature. Mechanically strong and resistant to a wide range of weather conditions, they are characterised by a low friction coefficient and excellent lubricating properties. Low mass allows for increasing the thickness of the strip while observing pantograph specification requirements, and thus extending the service life of the strip. Aluminium profiles are designed to ensure the highest stability and resistance to mechanical damage.
